Job Summary
Senior Paralegal provides legal support to the General Counsel by managing global enterprise corporate governance activities; prepares and reviews documents; conducts research; and organizes and maintains files. Responsibilities include organizing and maintaining information about the company and its 80+ international subsidiaries, obtaining assumed name and foreign qualifications registrations, preparing board and shareholder minutes, coordinating with executives, tax, and local counsel on governance/registrations, managing complex signature processes (apostilles, notary), reviewing NDAs and customer contracts, assisting with acquisition due diligence and closing documents, preparing legal holds, conducting legal research, liaising with personnel and outside counsel, and performing clerical duties. Requires strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills; 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree; proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Required Qualifications
- At least three years’ law office and/or corporate legal department experience or alternative experience supporting corporate secretary activity in large, international organization.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with computer-based research tools and Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
