Job Summary
Senior paralegal and legal operations manager focused on leading legal tech buildout and supporting complex corporate and project-based transactions in renewable energy and infrastructure. Responsibilities include implementing and optimizing contract lifecycle management and e-billing systems, managing multi-entity formations and UCC filings, coordinating diligence through closing, drafting and coordinating transactional documents, managing closing mechanics and post-closing activities, and collaborating with Finance, Operations, and Compliance to align with business objectives. Required skills include strong transactional and project-management capabilities, experience implementing CLM with workflows and repositories, experience with corporate, project finance, or commercial transactions, ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously, and proficiency with CLM tools and related software (Salesforce, iManage, Ironclad, Luminance). Location: Annapolis, MD (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of transactional paralegal experience (including both law firm and in-house)
- 5+ years of legal operations experience in a law firm or in-house setting
- Experience implementing contract lifecycle management software (CLM) and building automated document workflows; experience with Salesforce integrations preferred
- Experience supporting corporate, project finance, or other commercial transactions
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attorneys, clients, and business partners
- High attention to detail and accountability; solid understanding of transactional legal principles and documentation standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe; familiarity with CLM tools (e.g., iManage, Ironclad, Luminance) or equivalent
