Sr Operations Work Coordinator

Job Summary
Adjust planned schedules daily and assign crews for priority tasks based on resource availability and real-time progress reports. Review approved incoming work designs to manage exception tasks outside normal scheduling windows, ensuring all equipment and materials are coordinated just in time for execution. Coordinate site checking, job readiness, and work acceptance processes while identifying necessary project changes and communicating updates to front line leaders and stakeholders. Triage additional work requests and adjust schedules to accommodate disruptions, maintaining promised start dates and eliminating non-productive field time. Build partnerships with local supervisors and customers to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum five years' experience in construction, design, maintenance or operations area
- Demonstrated ability to schedule and manage work activities in a manner that meets customer and/or internal stakeholder requirements
- Established analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or other spreadsheet tools
- Ability to retrieve and manipulate data from reporting tools
- Knowledge of and ability to use a wide range of computer software applications which include Microsoft products, work management, mapping and scheduling tools
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management or related field
- Utility experience
- Scheduling/planning experience in utility or construction industry
