Job Summary
The Sr. Operations Accountant will manage payroll operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and lead financial projects. Requires extensive experience in operational accounting and expertise in internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), internal controls, and payroll regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Masters’ degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Workday, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
