Job Summary

Meet and exceed Oncology sales goals by promoting therapeutic products in an assigned territory through compliant, appropriate interactions with Medical Oncologists, Hematologists, and nurses. Conduct ongoing territory and market analysis to monitor customer needs, local dynamics, and trends, while collaborating with cross-functional partners to develop business strategies and drive pull-through sales within Integrated Delivery Networks. Deliver clinical, efficacy, and safety messaging regarding product access and administration to key stakeholders, monitor operating costs against the territory budget, and build relationships with prescribers and decision-makers to influence prescribing behavior.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience in specialty sales experience in device sales or related therapeutic area (Oncology sales experience preferred)
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in specialty sales experience in device sales or related therapeutic area (Oncology sales experience highly preferred)
  • Proven track record in successfully managing/overseeing sales portfolio within territory
  • Proven performance as a Specialist and fulfillment of defined promotion criteria
  • Must be able to engage in person with HCPs and other third parties at their offices, institutions and other appropriate locations on a regular basis

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in hospital and large account sales
  • Documented history of successful sales performance in a competitive environment
  • Experience working with relevant customer business, disease state, product prescribing information, approved promotional clinical trials, patient access to medication, and regulatory/compliance guidelines
  • Experience with account planning and management
  • Experience working with key laws and regulations impacting the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., PhRMA Code; Federal Food, Drug, Cosmetic Act; Anti-Kickback Statute; False Claims Act, OIG/DOJ Guidance; Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; and federal and state transparency and disclosure laws)
  • Demonstrated skills at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers and others in the customer influence network
  • Experience in business analytics to understand and analyze business and market drivers
