Job Summary
Senior Nurse - Clinical Education conducts staff training on Utilization Review processes, clinical rules/guidelines, client/module/workflows, and software enhancements; develops educational material with cross-department collaboration; partners with Workforce Planning to schedule training; identifies targeted improvements; provides coaching on education and adherence to policies; reviews monthly quality audit findings; delivers remote education/training and creates content to promote process efficiency and program outcomes; requires nursing licensure and experience in clinical care and training, with strong communication and presentation skills; proficient with Microsoft Office and setting up webinars/ multi-participant conference calls.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current, active, and unrestricted RN, LVN, or LPN license in a state or territory of the U.S.
- 2 years of prior experience in direct clinical care or managed care setting
- 1 year of direct virtual and/or face-to-face training experience
