Job Summary

Senior Field Application Engineer for Nuclear Controls responsible for deploying GE Vernova SCS Nuclear Controls strategy in North America, providing pre-sales technical and product solution consultation to the Nuclear Industry, developing pipelines, supporting Sales Managers in complex opportunities, delivering technical presentations and demos, and maintaining knowledge of market trends and regulatory requirements. Will serve as the commercial focal point for NAM, collaborate with Product Line leadership, travel up to 30%+, and require a Bachelor's in Engineering with 15+ years in nuclear power and controls technologies. Must be able to quote appropriate solution scopes, support proposal development, and communicate effectively with regional customers while staying current on industry standards (e.g., 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, NQA-1) and GE Vernova offerings. Remote position in the United States with no relocation guaranteed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the nuclear power industry
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience working with steam turbine, generator, and controls technologies, including associated products, systems, and services
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in one or more of the following areas: sales, project management, engineering, or field services
