Job Summary
Senior Networking Systems Engineer responsible for pre-sales technical and functional support to prospective clients, presenting and articulating the value of HPE Networking solutions, leading in a team environment, and delivering tailored campus and distributed-branch network solutions. Will travel to customer sites at least 3 days per week within the Northern Virginia, DC Metro, and Baltimore regions, with remote/teleworker setup and onsite engagements as needed. Requires in-depth knowledge of networking technologies (routing, switching, security, NAC, wireless design and deployment), experience with Aruba or Juniper Mist networking, and the ability to build and demonstrate proofs of concept, develop detailed design and implementation specifications, and support the sales cycle from qualification to closure. Strong ability to develop account relationships, manage a sales pipeline, and provide consultative support to stakeholders. Knowledge of CWNA/CWDP/CWSP desirable. Role emphasizes solution selling, technical presentations, and customer-oriented delivery in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure engineering experience preferred
- pre-sales support experience
- strong communication and presentation skills
- ability to travel 3+ days per week
