Sr. Network Security Engineer

Job Summary
Conduct technical consultancy for clients while ensuring accurate time tracking for billing and future estimates. Mentor and train Infrastructure Support team members, then provide training and hand-off to Operations Team Engineers regarding deployment architectures, procedures, and guidelines. Act as Level 3 for IS team incidents and participate in on-call rotation and Service Restoration Efforts (SRTs). Escalate service issues to the Manager of Services and stay current with the latest technologies, security threats, and vulnerabilities. Work with IS Project Managers to receive assignments, provide status updates, and ensure successful task and project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience with Advanced Routing (BGP design and troubleshooting) and Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, Etc.)
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CISSP, Security+ or equivalent certifications
- Strong Expertise with Cisco Nexus devices
- 7+ years or more Networking experience
- 2+ years of Architecture and solution design experience
- Proven Client Management experience
- Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize tasks within established time frames
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision, self-motivation, and tight deadlines
- Participate in on-call rotation
- Act as Level 3 for IS team Incidents

- Escalate service issues to the Manager of Services
- Stay current with the latest technologies, security threats and vulnerabilities
- Minimal Travel may be required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Cisco NSO is desired
- Cloud Architecture Certifications are an asset
