Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize enterprise and data center network infrastructure while serving as the primary technical escalation point for complex incidents. Lead networking-focused technology projects from inception through post-implementation support, championing the infrastructure vision and driving automation to improve performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve all network-related problems, developing designs for complex systems backed by thorough engineering analysis and leveraging metrics to manage infrastructure. Partner with sales and internal teams to deliver secure, high-performing solutions, representing the Otava brand through direct customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience administering and engineering complex networks supporting enterprise class technologies (e.g. cloud platforms)
- Network-related certifications or education
- Expert knowledge of OSI Model, computer networking, network topologies, and design standards
- Client-focused individual with excellent communication skills who has the ability to communicate network concepts and challenges effectively to both technical and non-technical people
- Extensive automation experience
- Extensive experience and knowledge in the Fortinet product suite
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience
- One or more relevant industry recognized certifications: MCSA, CCNA, CISSP, CCNET, Comp TIA A+, MTA, ITIL
Desired Qualifications
- CCIE preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, and/or Safe Harbor a plus
