Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize enterprise and data center network infrastructure while serving as the primary technical escalation point for complex incidents. Lead networking-focused technology projects from inception to implementation, championing the network vision and driving automation through rigorous metrics and analysis. Troubleshoot and resolve critical network-related problems, ensuring high reliability and scalability for Otava's secure, compliant cloud hosting solutions. Partner with sales and internal teams to deliver innovative technology solutions and exceptional client experiences.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience administering and engineering complex networks supporting enterprise class technologies (e.g. cloud platforms)
- Network-related certifications or education
- Expert knowledge of OSI Model, computer networking, network topologies, and design standards
- Client-focused individual with excellent communication skills who has the ability to communicate network concepts and challenges effectively to both technical and non-technical people
- Extensive automation experience
- Extensive experience and knowledge in the Fortinet product suite
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, technical field, or equivalent experience
- One or more relevant industry recognized certifications: MCSA, CCNA, CISSP, CCNET, Comp TIA A+, MTA, ITIL
Desired Qualifications
- CCIE preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA, PCI, and/or Safe Harbor a plus
