Job Summary
Sr Network Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud environments, networking, load balancing, and Google Kubernetes Engine. Role involves contributing to Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, setting standards for redundancy, security, and efficiency, and managing connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments. Primary responsibilities include GCP networking, Gsuite admin duties, DNS/IPAM, VPNs, city-wide connectivity with SOC2 considerations, and maintaining relationships with Google TAM. Telecommuting 3 days per week indicates a hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience as a Network Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or related occupation involving networking/troubleshooting in Cloud Technologies in the retail or IoT industry
- Experience with routing, VPNs, firewalls, packet captures, DNS, and DHCP
- Experience with Aviatrix or similar cloud networking technologies
- Experience with certificates and load balancers operations, deployments, and observability
- Experience conducting architecture reviews, threat modeling, and technical due diligence to ensure system integrity and security
- Experience automating with Terraform for deployment of all systems and components
- Experience deploying, managing and observing L3 firewalls, WAFs, and reverse proxy servers
