Job Summary
Manage mission-critical network services and showcase expertise in a unique, challenging environment. Implement and manage routers and switches within complex secure networks, utilizing network monitoring tools to identify incidents and analyze performance. Ensure real-time requirements for data and voice networks are satisfied while maintaining active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance. Requires five years of network engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or ten years with a high school diploma, along with active CCNA and CCNP certifications. Security+ and ITILv4 certifications are beneficial. This on-site role is located at DOE Inside Out's HQ in Reston, VA.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of network engineering experience with a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or Mathematics or 10 years of experience with a high school diploma
- active CCNA certification
- active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance
- security + certification
- experience implementing and managing routers and switches in a complex secure network
- experience using network monitoring tools to identify incidents as well as analyze performance of the network
- active CCNP certification
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge of complex data and voice networks to satisfy real-time requirements
- ITILv4 certification
