Job Summary
Design and implement fault-tolerant network architecture aligned with NIST 800-171 and 53 frameworks to secure enterprise and mission-critical infrastructure. Deploy, configure, and maintain network, wireless, and firewall systems across physical offices and cloud platforms, including Azure Hub & Spoke topologies and ExpressRoute. Automate configurations using Ansible, Chef, or Puppet while monitoring performance and troubleshooting real-time telemetry and video broadcast streams. Act as the primary escalation point for connectivity issues, perform root-cause analysis for outages, and mentor entry-level engineers. Maintain up-to-date documentation of architectural diagrams and runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of professional experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Experience configuring and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
Desired Qualifications
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting routing and switching technologies
- Experience administering enterprise firewalls
- Experience with TCP/IP networking, including routing, switching, DNS, and DHCP
- 6+ years of professional experience in network engineering
- Experience supporting network infrastructure in aerospace, defense, government, finance, or other regulated industries
- Experience administering Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Aruba, Silver Peak, or equivalent enterprise networking platforms
- Experience with BGP, OSPF, RADIUS, TACACS+, IPSec, Multicast, 802.1X, VRRP, or HSRP
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid-cloud networking
- Experience with NIST/CMMC requirements
- Experience with IaC tools
- Relevant networking certifications
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical environments
