Job Summary
Design, implement, and optimize the organization's global network infrastructure, including multi-site implementations, major upgrades, and cloud/network integrations. Act as the technical lead for complex projects, performing advanced configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of enterprise equipment, security appliances, and hybrid/multi-cloud solutions. Partner with IT leadership to shape long-term roadmaps, recommend enterprise architecture best practices, and drive the adoption of automation and AI-enabled operational capabilities. Mentor network team members, maintain detailed technical documentation, and enforce network policies and configuration standards aligned with security requirements. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support critical systems and respond to after-hours technical issues.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident
- Onsite at Golden, Colorado Headquarters location
- Bachelor's degree in IT related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 6+ years in network administration
- Expertise in enterprise routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud networking platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Strong knowledge of network security frameworks, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting methodologies
- Experience collaborating with global teams and managing vendor relationships
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Ability to present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Participation in a rotating on-call schedule
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with network automation, scripting, orchestration tools, or AI-assisted operational platforms
- Japanese language skills
