Job Summary
Sr. NA Operations Procurement Manager leads the NA procurement team supporting complex chemical manufacturing plants, research facilities, and corporate offices in the US and Mexico; oversees indirects procurement, coordinates Global Business Support resources, drives TPV targets, coaches team in contracting, supplier onboarding, and performance management; coordinates Category Management strategies, engages internal stakeholders, and manages supplier negotiations, performance, and risk; uses SAP for supplier agreements, pricing, and analytics; leads process improvements across Procurement, Contract Management, Master Data, and related functions; delivers Global Shared Service Center implementation and long-term sustainability; requires a Bachelor's degree, 10+ years procurement/Category Management experience, CPSM/CIPS desirable, MBA preferred; located in The Woodlands, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of work experience in Procurement/Category Management in the Petrochemicals Industry, Process Manufacturing, or similar
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Experience in Category Management Process and strategic sourcing processes
- Experience with SAP S4/HANA or equivalent
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, Internet applications, and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Experience with digital sourcing and contract management platforms (e.g., GEP, Jaeger, Ariba, Coupa)
- Professional certification (CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent) highly desirable
- Advanced degree (MBA, Masters) preferred
