Sr. Municipal Engineer – Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead municipal engineering projects through full lifecycle, including road rehabilitation, stormwater management, subdivisions, land development, and utility design; oversee capital improvement projects for public sector clients ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery; develop project work plans, budgets, and construction cost estimates; review and approve project plans, shop drawings, specifications, and technical documentation; coordinate technical developments, scheduling, and issue resolution; represent the firm at municipal planning, zoning, and land-use board meetings; communicate project updates to clients, public officials, and community stakeholders; mentor and develop junior engineers; support business development through client relationships, proposals, and pursuit of new opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 6+ years of progressive experience managing municipal infrastructure or land development projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to represent the firm effectively in public and client-facing settings
