Sr MTS Software Engineer

Lead design, development, and optimization of core storage data plane components for distributed systems. Own high-performance, low-latency code in C++ or Go; drive architectural decisions on I/O paths, concurrency, memory management, and scalability. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks via profiling, benchmarking, and tuning. Own production issues end-to-end with root-cause analysis and long-term fixes. Collaborate with control plane, SRE, infrastructure, and hardware teams to ensure reliability. Review designs and code, provide mentorship, and contribute to long-term technical roadmap. Be on-call and participate in Kubernetes-based deployments. Strong emphasis on building production-grade storage solutions with exposure to NVMe/SSD, replication, sharding, and caching; familiarity with failure modes and observability in storage systems.Qualifications include formal degrees and professional software experience across Linux/distributed systems; preferred experience with large-scale storage systems and cloud-scale architecture.
