Job Summary
Originate residential mortgage loans by conducting borrower interviews, evaluating financial documents, and educating clients on available products. Submit complete loan applications to the processing team, maintain accurate records in the loan origination system, and ensure timely follow-up with processors and underwriters. Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate smooth loan closings while meeting established productivity and quality goals. Maintain current knowledge of lending policies, compliance standards, and industry trends. This part-time, commission-only role requires a valid NMLS license and experience in mortgage lending or financial services. Located at Texana Bank's Keller, TX branch.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NMLS license as required by state and federal regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- This position must meet the Outside Sales Exemption criteria as defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and applicable state regulations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with loan origination systems and Microsoft Office tool
