Job Summary
The Senior Middle Market Relationship Banker will actively build a strategic client acquisition pipeline to deepen and expand the portfolio and the Bank’s presence in the market. This role requires strong business development and networking skills to cultivate a robust prospect list and drive increased market share/revenue. Responsibilities include ensuring client coverage, managing risks, utilizing data to self-manage the sales production pipeline, and delivering comprehensive financial solutions. Candidates must possess significant commercial banking experience, advanced financial acumen, and effective communication skills to collaborate across teams and support client needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/finance, accounting, or related field
- Prior experience in credit analysis and/or portfolio management focusing on middle market and corporate clients
- Advanced knowledge of banking suite of products and services
- Effective team player with ability to work across business partner groups
- Exceptional writing, interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to identify and solve problems/issues
Desired Qualifications
- 10 years of commercial banking experience
- Formal Credit Training (Commercial Credit Certification, or from another bank)
