Job Summary
Lead medium to large, complex software development programs with multiple dependencies, managing technical design, SLAs, and KPIs for highly available distributed systems. Drive AI-assisted engineering adoption and automation workflows to accelerate productivity within the financial services domain. Facilitate technical discussions, resolve issues, and implement cost-effective solutions aligned with strategic technology vision. Coach and mentor talent while fostering inclusive, high-performance team cultures in a globally distributed environment. Manage performance goals and drive innovation in modernization programs using Generative AI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- 3–5+ years in people leadership roles
- Proven experience managing medium to large, complex programs with multiple dependencies
- Experience in financial services or brokerage domain
- Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and enterprise software engineering practices
- Experience building and operating highly available, scalable distributed systems
- Hands-on experience or strong exposure to mainframe and modern distributed ecosystems
- Demonstrated experience driving AI-assisted engineering adoption & AI-DLC
- Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, AI coding assistants) and their application in enterprise environments
- Understanding of automation, agentic workflows, and AI-driven productivity acceleration
- Strong coaching, mentoring, and talent development capabilities
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, globally distributed environments
- Self-starter with strong prioritization and multitasking capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate technical discussions and drive solutions forward to achieve business needs and ensure alignment to strategic technology vision
- Demonstrated past experience with designing or working with highly available and reliable systems including work on technical design, defining SLAs, KPIs for tracking and improving software reliability
- Experience facilitating issue intervention and driving improvements
- Skills in risks identification, tracking and planned mitigation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and continuous delivery practices
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Rally, ChangeMan, BMC Remedy
- Experience leading large-scale modernization programs using GenAI and automation
