Job Summary
Senior Manager, Medical Science Liaison in Community – Upper Midwest engages with emerging opinion leaders and healthcare professionals in community and regional health systems. Builds long-term relationships, delivers scientifically rigorous information on Alnylam therapies, supports medical education initiatives and advisory/speaker programs, gathers field insights for internal teams, responds to unsolicited medical information requests, and travels within the defined territory (IL, WI, MO, IA, MN, IN) to advance evidence-based dialogue and patient outcomes. Requires a PharmD/PhD/MD/DO, 1-3 years of MSL experience, strong communication and presentation skills, CRM proficiency, and ability to travel up to 60–70% with a valid driver's license. Roles involve cross-functional collaboration, regulatory/compliance adherence, and representing Alnylam at medical conferences.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO in a relevant life science discipline
- 1-3 years’ prior MSL experience within the pharma/biotech industry
- Travel up to 60–70% within assigned territory; must reside within territory
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with CRM systems and digital engagement platforms
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
