Job Summary
Senior Medical Science Liaison in Community focus builds and sustains peer-to-peer relationships with emerging opinion leaders and healthcare professionals across community and health-system settings within a defined territory. Delivers scientifically rigorous information on Alnylam therapies, engages in evidence-based scientific dialogue, supports medical education initiatives and clinical research activities, and collaborates cross-functionally to align strategic messaging. Must reside within the defined territory (MI, OH, KY, TN), travel 60–70%, and have PharmD/PhD/MD/DO with 1-3 years MSL experience; CRM proficiency and strong communication skills are essential; role may be remote within the United States.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO in a relevant life science discipline
- 1-3 years’ prior MSL experience within the pharma/biotech industry
- Scientific acumen with ability to critically evaluate and communicate complex clinical data
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; ability to engage credibly in peer-to-peer scientific dialogue
- Proficiency with CRM systems and digital engagement platforms
- Ability to travel up to 60–70% within assigned territory; must reside within territory
- Valid driver's license required
