Job Summary
Senior field-based Medical Science Liaison for Gulf Coast communities, focused on community-based care settings. Build and sustain peer relationships with EOLs, HCPs, and local health systems; provide scientifically rigorous, evidence-based dialogue on Alnylam therapies and disease areas; support medical education initiatives, advisory boards, speaker programs, and clinical research activities; gather field insights and communicate with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access, and Strategic Account Management; respond to unsolicited medical information requests within 2 business days; travel within the Gulf Coast territory (60-70%) and reside in the territory; represent Alnylam at national, regional, and local medical conferences; maintain current knowledge of disease areas, clinical data, and competitive landscape; ensure compliance with regulations and PhRMA guidelines; develop strategic thinking and cross-functional collaboration capabilities to execute field medical responsibilities with increasing independence.
Required Qualifications
- PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO in a life science discipline
- 1-3 years’ MSL experience in pharma/biotech
- Scientific acumen with ability to evaluate and communicate complex clinical data
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- CRM/digital engagement proficiency
- Ability to travel up to 60–70% within assigned territory; reside within territory
- Valid driver's license
