Job Summary
Lead the Diffusion equipment engineering organization at Micron’s F11, owning end-to-end performance of Diffusion equipment to meet high-volume manufacturing targets. Drive equipment uptime, MTBF/MTTR, preventive/predictive maintenance, and rapid troubleshooting. Collaborate with Process Engineering and Production to ensure process stability and yield, support technology ramp and capacity expansion, and drive defect reduction and excursion prevention. Implement optimization of maintenance, spare parts, and automation/digitalization initiatives, and deploy standardization across sites. Ensure compliance with EHS, quality systems, and audits; lead containment and prevention for equipment-related incidents. Manage M1 engineering managers and teams, guiding resource allocation, prioritization, and cross-functional alignment with PEE, Production, Facilities, and Vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or above in Engineering (EE / ME / Chemical Engineering or related field)
- Strong experience in Diffusion equipment (e.g., furnace, RTP, implant-related systems preferred)
- Proven leadership experience in semiconductor HVM equipment engineering
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record in driving operational and reliability improvements
- Experience in technology ramp and multi-site alignment
- Effective communication and decision-making capability
