Job Summary
Sr. MEMS Engineer to lead proposal writing and provide technical expertise for Microsystems technologies; lead development of MEMS/Nanoelectromechanical systems technologies; carry out numerical simulations on finite element software; lead prototype design and evaluation; support foundry transition of products; contribute to continual improvement of engineering teams; analyze problems as part of research or solution design; validate ideas or solutions through testing, development, or demonstrations; create and develop department documentation; implement processes to ensure efficiency; proactively explore and promote technologies and innovation.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of relevant experience; 14 years if no degree
- 2-3 years of printing polymers on MEMS resonators
- 2-3 years of experience using the NanoScribe
- Experience microfabricating technology in cleanroom and/or chemical laboratory settings
- Experience in modeling technology in commercial numerical software
- Experience/knowledge of failure analysis techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or Materials Science
- Advanced degree (PhD preferred) may be substituted for years of experience
