Job Summary
Senior Medical Science Liaison focused on precision oncology for Labcorp Oncology. Field-based scientific expert delivering evidence-based medical education, engaging KOLs and academic/clinical partners, and translating advisory findings into medical and commercial strategy. Responsibilities include establishing strategic relationships with KOLs and institutions, developing and delivering scientific education (slides, abstracts, manuscripts, data presentations), coordinating engagement at conferences and CME programs, serving as SME to cross-functional teams, providing regular scientific updates to internal stakeholders, identifying opportunities for research collaborations and advisory board activity, maintaining deep expertise in oncology care pathways and biomarker-driven diagnostics, responding to scientific inquiries, supporting dissemination of scientific evidence, and traveling up to 75% within the assigned territory and to national meetings. Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of Medical Science Liaison (MSL) experience in biotechnology, diagnostics, or the pharmaceutical industry with PhD or PharmD
- PhD or PharmD in oncology, or precision oncology
- Demonstrated success in building champions of company's products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 75%
- Independent work in home-based environment
