Job Summary
Conduct high-quality, non-promotional scientific exchange with Key Opinion Leaders and investigators in the Northeast and Southeast territories. Partner with leading multiple myeloma experts to support ongoing clinical development, launch planning, and evidence generation while shaping regional strategy in a pre-commercial environment. Serve as the primary medical point of contact for external stakeholders, facilitating investigator-sponsored research activities and providing actionable insights to cross-functional teams including Clinical Development and Regulatory Affairs. Mentor junior colleagues and ensure all scientific interactions comply with regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, DO, DNP, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a field-based Medical Affairs role
- Experience engaging with KOLs, investigators, and healthcare professionals in a scientific exchange capacity
- Strong understanding of clinical research, evidence generation, and Medical Affairs principles
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating across a matrixed organization
- Must be available for Northeast AND Southeast territories (specific territory alignment will be determined based on candidate location, experience, and business needs)
- Must be able to undergo reference checks, a comprehensive background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law and applicable to the position
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting hematology/oncology products, with multiple myeloma experience strongly preferred
- Experience within small, emerging, or growth-stage biotechnology organizations
- Launch or pre-launch Medical Affairs experience
- Experience supporting Clinical Trial Operations, Medical Review Committees (MRC), Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), and/or Patient Advocacy initiatives
- Demonstrated success operating in fast-paced, evolving environments with limited infrastructure
