Job Summary
Sr Medical Science Liaison responsible for sustaining deep scientific expertise in the assigned therapeutic area, leading or contributing to Medical Affairs field activities, and delivering tailored, accurate scientific information to external stakeholders. The role emphasizes education of external stakeholders on disease states, therapeutic options, investigational therapies, and Company assets, aligning local medical strategies with overarching strategies, and identifying opportunities for Real World Evidence and data generation within the territory. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of disease states, research advances, approved treatments, and investigational therapies; represents Medical Affairs as a trusted scientific resource to external stakeholders and maintains robust relationships with thought leaders, healthcare professionals, and policy organizations within the Taiwan territory. Requires a scientific degree and English proficiency, with minimum one year of relevant pharmaceutical or clinical experience and strong communication, analytical, and collaboration skills.
Required Qualifications
- Scientific degree (e.g., MSc, PharmD, PhD, DO, MD) is required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in MSL or related pharmaceutical field, clinical or research experience in a scientific or related field is preferred or required
- Advanced English language competency and fluency in local language
- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
- Good conflict resolution/management skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills
