Job Summary
Contract Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated systems to enhance operational efficiency. Implement robotics solutions to streamline workflows, collaborate with engineering teams to innovate mechatronic systems, perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on robotics and mechatronics systems, conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure safety standards, document technical reports and maintenance records, train and mentor junior technicians in mechatronics and robotics applications, coordinate with vendors to procure materials and equipment, participate in continuous improvement initiatives to boost operational effectiveness. Location is Monee, IL; compensation ranges from $33 to $37.50 per hour based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Strong foundational knowledge in mechatronics, robotics, and automation technologies
- Proficient in programming languages relevant to robotic control and automation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
