Sr. Mechanical REVIT Designer

Job Summary
Design and model complete mechanical building systems in Autodesk MEP REVIT, including preparing schematic designs, design development, and construction documents for schools, hospitals, and high-rise projects. Direct clash detection and modeling reviews while coordinating mechanical systems with architectural, structural, civil, electrical, and fire disciplines. Select equipment by working directly with suppliers and manufacturers, assist with contract administration through shop drawing reviews and RFI responses, and attend design and construction meetings. Maintain project schedules and budgets to track work progress and resource utilization. Requires five days in the office at the Calgary location.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years experience using Autodesk MEP REVIT software
- Must have 1 years of Canadian experience
- Strong knowledge of current codes and standards, such as the applicable plumbing and building codes
- Excellent written skills
- Understanding of software programs
Desired Qualifications
- A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering
