Job Summary
Own mechanical projects end-to-end, leading design, managing teams, and navigating regulatory requirements across HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and specialty systems. Design and troubleshoot complex industrial ventilation and process piping while applying deep knowledge of cleanrooms and central plant design. Keep multiple simultaneous projects moving with precision, ensuring every code requirement and deliverable is handled correctly. Lead and mentor junior engineering staff to maintain clarity and consistency throughout the lifecycle from scope development to closeout.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' experience with relevant system design
- Proficiency in design of typical building mechanical systems with an emphasis on HVAC systems but also including plumbing and fire protection systems
- Experience with design of specialty mechanical systems including industrial ventilation systems, process piping systems, and other specialty systems
- Understanding of regulatory and code requirements
- Experience in team leadership and managing and mentoring junior staff
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent experience
