Sr Mechanical Designer

Develop detailed design models and comprehensive drawing packages using AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SolidWorks, and Navisworks for power generation facilities. Create and update piping isometrics, equipment layouts, P&IDs, and bills of materials while utilizing laser scanning technology for project applications. Conduct site walkdowns to gather field information and document existing configurations, then review and peer-check design packages from team members. Provide mentorship to junior designers and drafters. Requires an Engineering Technology degree, seven years of piping design experience, and knowledge of ASME, NFPA, and API codes. Full-time role with travel for meetings and site visits.
