Job Summary
Senior Material Handler – 2nd Shift, on-site in Kalamazoo, MI. Manages warehouse and distribution activities supporting Manufacturing and Distribution, ensuring accurate inventory movement, order pick/pack/shipping, labeling, and documentation. Operates powered industrial vehicles (PIV) including order selectors, Bendi forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks; handles hazardous and non-hazardous materials per regulatory requirements; participates in 5S and keeps workspace organized. Performs regulatory training (49 CFR, IATA, IMDG as applicable), prepares shipping documents (bills of lading, packing lists, product labels), coordinates freight with carriers, and collaborates with Quality and Manufacturing teams to support workflows. Must have high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years of relevant warehouse experience; wage range is $20-$22/hour plus potential discretionary bonus. On-site Kalamazoo, MI.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1–2 years of experience performing warehouse, distribution, or material handling activities such as receiving, inventory movement, order picking, packing, shipping, or operating material handling equipment
- Experience operating Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) equipment in warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environments
- Experience handling or shipping hazardous materials in accordance with applicable safety regulations (preferred)
