Sr Master Planner

Sr Master Planner at Jabil accountable for managing all planning activities for the dedicated workcell and mentoring Production Planners and Document Coordinators. Responsibilities include ensuring 100% on-time delivery, establishing build readiness, maintaining capacity and customer sizing efficiency, accurate revenue forecasting, material control and liability, developing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and loading it into ERP with PO coverage, weekly reconciliation of MPS to customer PO coverage, maintaining 100% MPS accuracy and achieving 95% MPS goal, owning production planning, BOM and document control, analyzing material and capacity requirements, maintaining the workcell’s capacity planning model, meeting daily with the Workcell/team to optimize schedules and minimize changeovers, managing contract terms on file, ensuring valid PO, adequate material quantities, and accurate BOM/routing, leading creation of BOMs and routings for accurate WIP tracking and inventory movement, and EOL management including pre-build meetings and strategic planning for last builds and potential RMAs. The role requires advanced PC skills, ERP/MRP knowledge, ability to interpret documents, and effective communication. Education includes HS Diploma or equivalent and Bachelor’s degree; APICS certification and supervisor experience preferred; 8 years planning experience with at least 1.5 years as Master Planner.
