Sr. Marketing and Professional Relations Manager Iberia and Italy

Job Summary
Senior-level leadership role directing professional relations for Italy and Iberia within Align Technology. Lead strategy for KOL/speaker/faculty networks, drive scientific marketing and education initiatives, coordinate cross-functional marketing projects, and align professional relations with commercial and education objectives across Italy and Iberia. Build trusted partnerships with academic institutions, clinical educators and stakeholders; partner with Clinical, Marketing, Sales, BI and regional teams to develop data-driven programs, dashboards, and ROI analyses. Office-based in Madrid with travel across Italy and Iberia to support partner engagement, educational events, congresses, and customer visits. Requires 7+ years in strategic marketing or related fields, fluency in English and Spanish, and a Bachelor’s degree (Italian knowledge desirable). Master’s degree or MBA and prior EMEA experience are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in strategic marketing, professional relations, business development, clinical education, stakeholder engagement or marketing project leadership within the medical device, dental, healthcare or related sectors
- Proven experience building and managing senior-level partnerships with KOLs, speakers, faculty, academic institutions and professional organizations
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered
- Fluency in English & Spanish is required
- Italian knowledge are highly desirable; Portuguese is a plus
- Experience managing marketing projects end-to-end, including planning, stakeholder alignment, execution tracking, campaign localization, performance measurement and post-implementation optimization
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence without authority and lead cross-functional teams across Marketing, Clinical, Sales, Finance, BI, Professional Education and regional functions
- Strong project leadership mindset
- Data-driven and value-oriented approach to prioritization, resource allocation, marketing project delivery and program optimization
- Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry, Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered
- Preferred qualifications: Master’s degree, MBA or advanced qualification in dentistry, marketing, business or healthcare management
- Experience working with EMEA teams and adapting regional or global strategies to local market realities
- Experience using performance dashboards, ROI analysis and market insights to guide investment decisions
- Previous field sales or customer-facing experience in medical, dental or healthcare environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Travel willingness for partner engagement, educational events, congresses and customer visits
