Job Summary
Senior-level Marketing and Communications professional responsible for leading major marketing/communications programs for Brown University Health. Provides marketing support, social media content, and writing for internal communications, proactive media relations, crisis communications, external affairs, issues management, and strategic communications planning. Manages comprehensive programmatic planning and budget oversight for assigned areas, collaborates with Brown University Health senior leaders to identify strategic priorities, and guides junior staff. Develops and implements marketing plans, stakeholder communications strategies, and annual communications plans; coordinates with Public Relations, Internal Communications, Project Management, Content and Digital/Web, and external affairs teams to ensure execution. Oversees budget portions for assigned areas, contributes to process improvement, supports sales/physician outreach, and assists with events and program evaluation. Mentors staff, participates in committees, and maintains knowledge of healthcare industry trends to advise clients and media on issues. Represents Brown University Health in external settings and ensures client satisfaction with services, timelines, and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, or related field required; advanced degree desired.
