Sr Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler

Job Summary
Create and manage work orders from initiation through completion, ensuring accuracy, timely execution, and compliance with established procedures. Develop and communicate production plans to meet customer demand while monitoring shop floor progress and adjusting schedules in real time. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, analyze production metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Track schedule adherence, identify root causes for variances, and manage inventory levels to meet targets. Support master data accuracy and field ad hoc queries using data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing planning or related role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Proficient in production planning software, MS Office
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience planning high SKU complexity and dynamic production schedules
- Experience in chemical or consumables manufacturing environments
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Experience with data automation and/or data wrangling using Python and/or SQL
