Sr. Manufacturing Finance Analyst

Job Summary
Provide timely and accurate daily and weekly cost reporting to plant management and generate accurate forecasts for overall plant results. Manage inventory through physical counting, cycle counts, and inventory dispositions while ensuring accounting procedures adhere to GAAP and corporate policies. Work with manufacturing, engineering, and finance to implement efficient processes, support budget management, and participate in period-end duties. Resolve AP queries, vendor setups, and blocked inventory issues with QA and purchasing teams. Lead Six Sigma projects to identify cost improvements and ensure new product costing accurately reflects the manufacturing process from development to launch.
Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary Education in a finance/business related program
- 2+ years of progressive manufacturing costing experience in an ERP environment
- Ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach and mentor others
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work and drive improvements within a team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-financial functions
- Advanced knowledge of MS office
- Experience with SAP
Desired Qualifications
- Working towards or completion of professional accounting designation
- SAP preferred
