Sr. Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Job Summary
Oversee the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve quality and throughput cost-effectively across two facilities. Lead a team of industrial, mechanical, chemical, and CAD engineers to design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes while managing capacity models focused on standard work methods. Perform product and process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency, supporting production departments and prioritizing projects based on business needs. Represent manufacturing engineering on cross-functional teams and work with product design to ensure smooth integration of new components with a DFMA focus. Manage lean flow-oriented layouts and value stream design, support safety initiatives, and handle employment-related issues including hiring, training, and performance coaching. Report to the VP of Operations and ensure project milestones and strategic goals are met.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 7-10 years experience in engineering, including 2-3 years of progressive leadership experience
- Must be a licensed driver with a good driving record (subject to MVR)
- Must be able to work in a non-climate controlled environment where ambient air temperature can exceed outside air temperature occasionally
- Must be able to bend at the waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds when necessary
- This is a safety-sensitive position
