Sr Manufacturing Engineer

Job Summary
Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead lean manufacturing and turbojet assembly production support. Own manufacturing value chain for multiple products, develop and qualify detailed assembly work instructions, establish production metrics (takt time, cycle time, yield), apply process improvement tools to reduce build hours and quality issues, and drive increased production rates. Work hands-on on the production floor supporting build, test and equipment operation; collaborate with Operations, Design Engineering, and Quality to ensure manufacturability, PFMEAs, and control plans; mentor other engineers and staff to support company goals in a high-velocity aerospace manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience with demonstrated execution of manufacturing process engineering in high-volume production; hands-on experience with hardware
- Experience with ERP, PLM, and MES Enterprise software systems
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in manufacturing. ISO 9001 or AS9100 working experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
