Job Summary
Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes for the manufacturing and fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. Collaborate with internal teams to estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and recommend tooling and process requirements for new or existing product lines. Continuously improve manufacturing methods by utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment, assembly methods, and quality control standards. Identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering with relevant experience, a U.S. Secret clearance, and citizenship.
Required Qualifications
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. Government security investigation eligibility
- Access to classified information eligibility
- U.S. citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering, a related specialized area or field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree
- 6 months relevant experience
- Solid knowledge with manufacturing processes and electrical/mechanical components, systems and applications
- Solid understanding of lean techniques and statistical analysis
