Sr Manufacturing Engineer (for special shift: Friday - Sunday from 7am to 7pm)

Job Summary
Optimize production assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours while ensuring adherence to quality, efficiency, cost, and safety targets. Identify and implement improvement projects, approve process designs, and perform final tests for internal or external developments. Provide support during production start-ups by defining action plans and training resources, while evaluating new technologies to boost productivity and reduce costs. Define working phase sequences for new processes to meet targeted product costs and equipment investment budgets. This onsite role supports the switchboard assembly and fabrication area in Apodaca, requiring a special shift schedule from Friday to Sunday, 7am to 7pm.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years of professional experience
- strong knowledge of sheet metal processes (CNC punching, press brake bending, MIG/TIG/spot welding, grinding, polishing) and assembly processes
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
- Highly adept in Autocad and SolidWorks and similar software
- Expertise in OEE monitoring systems
- demonstrated ability to use production data for process optimization
- Knowledge of Lean principles
- Standard work definition and improvement
- Advanced English communications skills
- Availability to work in the special shift: From Friday to Sunday, starting at 7am to 7pm
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering is strongly preferred
