Sr. Manufacturing Development Engineer - Equipment: lead end-to-end deployment, site integration, and qualification (IQ/OQ/SAT) of diverse industrial manufacturing equipment matrices, drive equipment performance metrics (OEE, MTBF, MTTR), and ensure seamless handoffs to production operations and maintenance. Responsibilities include equipment commissioning and validation, vendor/interface management, hardware stability optimization, SOP documentation, and cross-functional collaboration to safely integrate new equipment modules into factory floor layouts and enterprise data/SCADA networks. Requires 5+ years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and hands-on familiarity with multiple industrial equipment categories; salary range $106,000–$171,000 with comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of progressive engineering experience with complex equipment deployment, factory automation, or industrial machinery integration
- Experience with equipment qualification protocols IQ/OQ/PQ
- Hands-on familiarity with major industrial equipment categories (e.g., CNC/EDM, vacuum/fluid/pneumatic systems, high-temperature thermal systems, robotic automation, or clean processing)
- Strong project management and vendor relationship communication skills
