Job Summary
Senior Manager, Warehouse and Logistics responsible for leading the design, start-up, qualification, and routine operation of aseptic drug product warehouse and logistics for a greenfield facility. Lead in crafting organization culture and capabilities, ensuring cGMP compliance, regulatory readiness, and alignment with logistics and warehouse strategy. Responsible for URS, engineering reviews (PFDs, P&IDs, functional designs, equipment specs, automation strategies), material and personnel flow design, cold chain storage and shipment strategy, contamination prevention in warehousing, and collaboration with site partners to achieve timely project delivery and startup readiness. Oversees staff hiring and development, operator training and qualification plans, SOPs/WI writing and review, and timely responses to regulatory inquiries while managing project timelines and budgets. Will require on-site presence in Wilson, NC with travel during the design phase.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Engineering (required)
- Minimum 8 years pharmaceutical industry experience
- Minimum 3 years as a subject matter authority in warehousing and logistics
- Strong expertise in automated warehouses (ASRS) and cold chain handling
- cGMP compliance experience and audit readiness
- Proficiency with automated, digital, and robotic logistics systems (AGVs and AMRs)
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence multiple stakeholders
