Job Summary
Lead complex consulting engagements connecting credit and fraud risk strategies to clients' financial objectives, focusing on sustainable growth, profitability, and value creation across the entire customer lifecycle. Structure and defend business cases while defining strategies that integrate risk management, product development, and financial performance. Leverage artificial intelligence and advanced analytics to enhance automation, insight generation, and decision-making efficiency in day-to-day consulting activities. This role requires strong strategic business acumen and the ability to operate in complex, ambiguous environments with senior executives. Visa requires at least 3 days in office, with specific expectations confirmed by the Hiring Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
- Visa requires at least 3 days in office
- Strong experience in financial services and risk management, with 10–15 years of experience and deep exposure to credit card products and end-to-end product initiatives
- Deep expertise in credit risk and fraud prevention, with a comprehensive understanding of the payments customer lifecycle and its interaction with risk decisions
- Strong analytical and technical capabilities, including data modeling, risk tools, and knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Strategic business mindset, with the ability to connect risk, product, and financial performance (P&L), and define growth and monetization strategies
- Executive presence and leadership skills, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate in complex and ambiguous environments
- Proven ability to leverage artificial intelligence and advanced analytics in day-to-day consulting activities, enhancing automation, insight generation, and decision-making efficiency
