Sr Manager, Vehicle Fluids Analysis

Senior-visibility role leading a fluids analysis team for aerospace vehicle propulsion and fluid systems. You will manage a high-performing team of analysts providing technical guidance for hardware design and operations across fluid dynamics and thermal systems, define required analyses to support program milestones, ensure analysis fidelity, oversee resource planning, and drive timely execution. Core duties include performing thermal-fluid calculations for sizing compressible and incompressible systems using hand calculations, scripts, and CFD models; developing and executing CFD analyses for propellant management, dynamics, thermal stratification, and multiphase flow in complex manifolds and feedlines; validating uncertainty in analysis models with literature and test data; maturing internal tools and methodologies for predicting fluids behavior across ascent, in-space, and reentry; mentoring engineers and guiding hardware owners to meet fluid requirements. The role requires a solid foundation in fundamental physics, first-principles thinking, self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative vehicle development environment.
