Job Summary
Sr. Manager, Transportation responsible for leading safety-focused transportation operations, achieving safety, service, and cost targets, coaching Transportation Managers and drivers, ensuring compliant regulatory practices (DOT, OSHA), and optimizing production flow and cost reductions across outbound shipments to customers and distribution centers. Requires strong leadership, people development, and communication skills, experience with union/non-union facilities, and ability to analyze performance data. Role involves collaboration with VP Operations and cross-functional teams, travel ~10%, and periodic on-site/off-site coordination in office and in trucks. Potential annual incentive; benefits package available.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in transportation/delivery supervision
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred
