Job Summary

Senior Manager, Talent Development responsible for end-to-end training and development programs from onboarding through ongoing development, aligned with brand values and employee lifecycle. Leads design, development, delivery, and evaluation of programs (management 101, anti-harassment, onboarding, interviewing effectiveness, competency alignment), tracks ROI and engagement trends, prepares reports, and drives continuous improvement. Oversees performance management processes (annual reviews, goal setting, feedback), ensures compliance with pay-for-performance models, and partners with leadership to identify development needs, career growth, and promotion plans. Manages talent branding, onboarding, and new-hire orientation; fosters a welcoming, collaborative environment and maintains confidential handling of sensitive information. Requires strong communication, strategic thinking, instructional design/learning principles, and ability to operate across a matrixed organization. 7–10 years HR experience with 5+ years in training & development; bachelor’s degree in HR or related field; 0–5% travel; salary range $100k–$130k (Western New York).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant degree preferred
  • Seven to ten years of experience in Human Resources
  • At least 5 years focused on designing training & development programs for employee development, onboarding and retention
  • Experience in learning and development
  • Prior consulting or professional services experience preferred
  • Experience with Predictive Index preferred
  • Travel: 0% to 5% domestic and/or global
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Demonstrated project/program management experience
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles
  • Experience working in a learning and development organization
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree required or preferred
  • HR practices and labor legislation understanding
