Job Summary
Set the strategic direction for Materials Planning, Production Scheduling, and Logistics teams while owning the production scheduling process to drive on-time delivery and inventory accuracy. Lead key inputs into Supply Review, Demand Review, and Executive Management Review meetings as part of the S&OP process. Manage and coach a team of subordinate supervisors, partnering closely with Purchasing on sourcing and material availability for new product launches. Drive continuous improvement across ERP systems, data integrity, and supply chain processes. Located on-site in Blacksburg, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years in Materials Management, Production Scheduling, or Supply Chain Operations
- leadership experience
- Strong grasp of lean manufacturing
- Strong grasp of Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
- A track record of building high-performing teams
- driving results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
